This work may be right for you if…
You have chronic pain that keeps coming back
You feel tight, stiff, or restricted, no matter how much you stretch
You’ve had an injury in the past that still affects you
You posture feels off or your body feels unbalanced
You experience neck, shoulder, or back pain from work or daily activities
You’ve tried physical therapy, massage, chiropractic, or other therapies, but the relief doesn’t last
You’re looking for a more specific, results-focused approach—not just temporary relief
This work is especially helpful for people who are ready to address the root of the problem, not just manage the symptoms.
Who This May Not Be For…
If you’re looking for a relaxing, spa-style massage
If you prefer a full-body, general session every time
If you’re not comfortable with focused, corrective work that can feel intense at times
Your story matters.
We begin by reviewing your health history and taking the time to truly understand your experience—because no two bodies, or lives, are the same.
Together, we clarify your functional goals—what you want to improve on or feel more comfortable doing in everyday life.
Next, we take precise measurements of your posture while you’re standing, sitting, and lying down. This shows how gravity is affecting your body in all three planes of motion.
Your postural findings are recorded on a structural chart that reveals muscular imbalances and alignment issues that may be contributing to pain, dysfunction, or chronic tension.
Your therapist uses a combination of direct and indirect manual techniques to release tension in muscles, fascia, and other soft tissues that influence both structural alignment and nervous system function. These techniques are carefully applied to reduce restrictions, restore proper muscle tone, and improve circulation. This hands-on approach can enhance mobility, and support the body’s natural ability to heal and maintain alignment.
Your therapist starts by identifying your unique neuromuscular patterns and explaining which soft tissues are involved. You’ll learn why these areas are reacting the way they are and how to correct the imbalances through targeted re-education and movement strategies.
Together, you’ll explore how daily habits, physical stress, or past injuries may have shaped your movement patterns.
From there, your therapist develops a customized plan to retrain movement patterns and help prevent future dysfunction.
We begin by addressing restricted tissues to improve flexibility and increase joint range of motion (ROM). As ROM improves, we introduce core stabilization techniques to restore balance and support the body’s return to a neutral alignment. Once the tissue restrictions no longer revert to their previous patterns, we shift our focus to muscular development. At this stage, we strengthen underactive muscles so that, as restrictions release, the body can maintain its neutral posture. This results in more efficient movement and reduced pain.

Sarah is a Neurosomatic Therapist and the president of Bio-Med Therapy LLC. Her professional journey began with 10 years of honorable service in the U.S. Coast Guard, where she served as an engineer, emergency operations and law enforcement instructor, and health coordinator. This experience not only deepened her commitment to helping others, but also honed her ability to solve complex problems quickly and effectively—in demanding situations.
Transitioning from military life, Sarah followed her passion for health and wellness by becoming a Personal Trainer and Physique Competitor. Despite the challenges of service-related injuries, she earned her Pro Physique card in 2018. However, the physical demands eventually led to chronic pain that began to impact her active lifestyle.
It was during this time that Sarah discovered Neurosomatic Therapy—a transformative discovery that opened the door to healing and a renewed sense of possibility. Empowered by her results, she chose to turn her experience into a profession. Since then, she has continued to deepen her knowledge by studying complementary modalities such as personal training, mat Pilates, and visceral manipulation, all of which enhance and support her current therapeutic approach.
Today, Sarah is committed to addressing the underlying neuromuscular and structural causes of pain and dysfunction. By applying a clinically informed, individualized approach, she helps clients restore proper biomechanical function, reduce chronic pain, and improve overall physical performance and quality of life.
