Restoring Movement & Improving Function

Bio-Med Therapy helps patients improve movement, mobility, and physical function through Neurosomatic Therapy (NST) and other specialized therapeutic techniques.

Each treatment is guided by the patient’s needs and functional goals. We also offer guidance on simple, manageable home-care practices for those who wish to continue their progress between sessions.

Is Neurosomatic Therapy Right for You?

NST may be a good fit if you’re experiencing persistent or recurring pain, restricted movement, or physical limitations that haven’t fully improved with other approaches.

This work may be right for you if…
•You experience chronic pain or recurring pain.
•You feel tight, stiff, or restricted in your movements.
•A past injury continues to affect your function.
•You posture feels misaligned or your body feels unbalanced.
•Work sports or everyday activities cause discomfort.
•Relief from other treatments hasn’t lasted.
•You want a focused, assessment driven approach.

NST considers how posture, muscular tension, movement patterns, and other contributing factors may relate to your symptoms, rather than focusing only on the area where you feel pain.

Who This May Not Be For…
    •Those seeking a relaxation-focused, spa-style massage.
    •Those who prefer a general full-body session.
•Those seeking treatment without educational and movement-focused components.

Therapeutic Process

Assessment

Step 1: We Listen First

Your story matters. We review your health history, experiences, and concerns to understand how they affect your daily life.

Step 2: Define Your Goals

Together, we identify what you want to improve, from reducing discomfort to moving more comfortably in everyday activities.

Step 3: Full-Body Postural Assessment

We assess posture while standing, sitting, and lying down, along with gait and general movement patterns. When needed, we observe sport-specific or everyday activities to identify mechanical distortions that may contribute to pain, restricted movement, or reduced performance.

Step 4: Structural Mapping

Your postural findings are recorded on a structural chart that reveals muscular imbalances and alignment issues that may be contributing to pain, dysfunction, or chronic tension.

Treatment

The Manual Therapy Process

Using direct and indirect hands-on techniques, we address soft tissue restrictions and muscular tension that may affect alignment, mobility, and nervous system function. Treatment is tailored to your body’s responses to support improved movement and function.

Education

Understanding Your Body’s Imbalances

We explain your assessment findings and how muscular and neuromuscular patterns may influence your posture, movement, and symptoms.

Tracing the Source

We explore how daily habits, physical stress, and past injuries may contribute to these patterns.

Creating a Path Forward

We explore how daily habits, physical stress, and past injuries may contribute to these patterns.

Home Care

Restoring Movement. Empowering Recovery.

We begin by addressing restricted tissues to improve flexibility and range of motion (ROM). As movement improves, we introduce stabilization exercises to support balance and postural control.

Building Better Movement Patterns

We progress toward strengthening underactive muscles and improving movement coordination so your body can better maintain alignment and function as restrictions decrease.
